From the western Alaskan mountains the Kisaralik River flows north to the mighty Kuskokwim, Alaska's second largest river which flows to the Bering Sea. The Kisaralik float trip starts at a high lake surrounded by alpine mountains, perfect summer grazing for caribou. We spent eleven days drifting this wonderful wilderness river never sighting another human.
